Day #1

Fly to Miami International Airport (MIA), rent a car, and stay overnight in Miami. Miami boasts a vibrant blend of sun, sand, and culture. Enjoy the iconic South Beach, tantalizing cuisine, and diverse neighborhoods, each offering its own unique charm.

Day #2

Drive to Everglades National Park – Shark Valley Entrance. Here there is a wonderful 15 mile bike loop that is flat and an easy ride. It is a wonderful way to see the diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes the everglades has to offer. The park also has tram tours for about $30 per person and is 2 hours round trip. There are also two other entrances to the park that offer even more to explore if you have more than one day. Stay overnight in the quaint town of Homestead, FL nestled between the Everglades and the turquoise waters of Biscayne Bay.

Day #3

Drive to Biscayne National Park, an often undervalued park that is 95% water. Spanning crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs, the park is a paradise for snorkelers and divers alike. Explore colorful marine life, from tropical fish to graceful sea turtles, or paddle through mangrove forests teeming with birdlife. Check out the many companies that offer sailing, kayaking, and snorkeling tours. This park has something for everyone! Again stay over night in Homestead.

Day #4

This day begins our drive to Key West. For a great place to stretch your legs, stop off at the Royal Palm Entrance of Everglades National Park for short walking trails and more wildlife. Continue your drive to Key West embarking on an iconic journey along the Overseas Highway, linking mainland Florida to the tropical paradise of Key West. This scenic drive traverses over 100 miles of breathtaking vistas. Wind your way through the picturesque Florida Keys, crossing over 40 bridges, including the renowned Seven Mile Bridge. Spend the night out on the town exploring Key West’s famous nightlife.

Day #5

Today you explore the remote and pristine paradise of Dry Tortugas National Park. Accessible only by boat or seaplane from Key West, this cluster of seven islands boasts unparalleled beauty and historical intrigue. Discover the rich history of Fort Jefferson, a 19th-century coastal fortress that stands as a testament to America’s past. Snorkel and explore the vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life, or wander the shores of pristine beaches. Whether you go by boat or plane will determine how much time you have to explore this incredible park, be sure to book your spots as early as possible as they fill up very fast. Stay the night in Key West.

Day #6

Spend the day exploring the cultural landmarks of Key West, then begin your drive back to Miami. Here you have plenty of time to explore those places you may have missed on the drive down. Stay overnight in Key West, Miami, or in between depending on the timing of your flight the next day.

Day #7

Fly home and give yourself a day or two of rest before getting back to it. This trip is jam packed with adventure!
